Food swap #3 Sugar on breakfast cereal with fresh and dried fruits

Those few teaspoons of sugar here and there during the day add to a whole lot of sugar. Try to replace sugar with healthier alternatives wherever possible. When starting your day with breakfast cereal, give the white devil a miss and opt for fresh or dried fruit instead. By doing this you control your intake of empty calories and get a whole lot of nutrients from the fruits. The fruits and the dry fruits provide you with essential vitamins, minerals, fiber and texture. Enjoy!!
